STORING YOUR GARLIC
We harvested our garlic in November so when you receive your garlic it will have been out of the ground for a few months. Like any veg you buy, it's great to cook with it when it's at its best. So make sure you store in a cool dark place, away from potatoes and other veg, or for longer storage, pop in the fridge. It will slow shooting and keep your bulbs firmer longer. It won't store forever so get cooking, only buy what you think you'll use in a month or two max. By May/June it will be 6 months old and if it hasn't started shooting it will be losing moisture and shrinking in its skin. Still fine for cooking, but best used when juicer! Happy cooking.
